Ring Size Guide
Finding the perfect fit is an essential part of every jewelry experience. This guide will help you determine your ring size accurately from the comfort of your home.
How to Measure
Find Your Perfect Size
Using a String or Paper Strip
- Cut a thin strip of paper or take a piece of non-stretch string, approximately 10 cm long.
- Wrap it snugly around the base of the finger you intend to wear your ring on.
- With a pen, mark the exact point where the strip overlaps or the string meets.
- Lay the strip flat and measure the length from the end to the mark in millimeters.
- Use the size chart below to find your corresponding ring size.
Using an Existing Ring
- Select a ring that fits comfortably on the finger you wish to wear your new ring on.
- Place the ring on a flat surface.
- Using a ruler, measure the inside diameter of the ring in millimeters.
- Use the size chart below to match the diameter to your ring size.
- If between sizes, select the larger size for comfort.
Before You Measure
Essential Tips
Measure in the Evening
Fingers tend to be slightly larger at the end of the day. Avoid measuring first thing in the morning.
Temperature Matters
Cold weather causes fingers to shrink, while warm conditions cause swelling. Measure at room temperature.
Consider Your Knuckle
If your knuckle is wider than the base of your finger, measure both and choose a size in between.

EU/FR sizes are based on the inner circumference in millimeters, which is the standard used at Jahel Joaillier. If unsure, contact us for guidance.
Important Note
Band Width and Fit
A wider band sits more snugly on the finger than a thin band of the same size. If you are considering a ring with a band width of 6mm or more, we recommend choosing a half size larger than your usual measurement for optimal comfort.
